Felipe Herrera was born and raised in Mexico City, Mexico, and showed a passion for the arts at an early age. After attending ENAP-UNAM for a Bachelor of Visual Arts in sculpture and painting, he ventured to California to pursue an in-depth film education. 

 

Felipe attended workshops at the New York Film Academy and graduated with an Associate’s Degree from the Los Angeles Film School with an emphasis in Production Design, soon after attended and graduated from the AFI Conservatory's Production Design Program.

 

Felipe has designed over a dozen short films, music videos and the feature films MY NAME IS VIVIENNE (2014), THE PINCH (2017), MUNA (2019) and the Upcoming film LA ISLA DE LAS MUÑECAS (2022)**
